How to get by Ferry from Dubrovnik to Korcula and Split (update 2025)

Here is the updated guide of how to get from Dubrovnik to any of the islands Korcula, Mljet, Hvar or Split AND vice versa for the season 2025. Take a Ferry (best for on budget and solo travellers)


  1. Ferry Route: Dubrovnik – Korčula -Mljet -Hvar – Split

The departure point is from the Gruz Harbour. The exact location of the pier is here : https://maps.app.goo.gl/njrrrgLHX2JWNHV86. You can easy reach port of Gruz by taking the bus 1A or1B from Pile Gate from the Old Town (2eur ticket) or take an UBER( 7-10eur).

You can choose between 3 operators:
  • Jadrolinija schedule – Croatia’s national ferry company offering reliable seasonal routes.

  • Krilo (Kapetan Luka) schedule– A popular choice for fast catamaran service.

  • TP Line schedule – Another high-speed ferry operator connecting major Dalmatian destinations.


    Travel Time:

    • Journey duration is approximately 2.5 to 4 hours depending on the route.


    Ticket Prices:

    • Prices range from €20 to €35, depending on demand and ferry type.


    Where to Board:

    • In Korcula, ferries depart from Korcula Town Port, near the old town.

    • In Split, ferries arrive at Split Ferry Port, in the city center.

    • In Dubrovnik,ferries arrive to Gruz Port.


Tips: . During peak season ( July and August), it’s highly recommended to book tickets in advance to secure a spot.
